NEW DELHI: The house of Congress leader Alka Lamba ’s father in west Delhi’s Tagore Garden was allegedly burgled in the early hours of Sunday, with three masked men escaping with cash and jewellery, news agency PTI reported.
A PCR call about the theft was received at 10.23am, following which a team was sent to the house, according to police. Cash amounting Rs 1.75 lakh, a gold earring, a gold chain and a diamond ring were found stolen,” the Delhi Police statement said.
