Yellow Gate police said an inquiry into the incident is underway. The crane was lifted off the ground and its telescopic boom struck the vessel, resulting in friction and a fire. The Mumbai Port fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the blaze. Crane operators Ranjeetsingh and Nishant Singh, were injured and taken to St George Hospital for treatment.
