Kanpur: Two elderly women were killed in separate wall collapse incidents in Banda district after four days of continuous rainfall.
In the first incident, a 67-year-old woman, identified as Pyari, died after her neighbour’s wall collapsed onto her thatched house in Simauni village under Baberu Kotwali area late Tuesday. In the second incident, a 60-year-old woman died after a mud wall of her house collapsed in Bairaf village under Marka police station limits on Tuesday night.
