MLA Mahesh Tenginakai inspected Ganesha idol procession routes from Sangolli Rayana Circle with Ganeshotsava committee members and officials

Tenginakai said the newly constructed flyover would not pose any obstacle to the immersion processions of Ganesh idols measuring between 16 and 18 feet in height. An alternative route has been planned for four idols that exceed the 18-ft height limit.

Tenginakai said the concerned departments had agreed to remove temporary dividers along the route on the day of immersion and reinstall them afterwards. The traditional route used for transporting large idols has been modified, with an alternative route identified through the upper reaches of Deshpande Nagar.

Lakhs of devotees from various parts of Karnataka and neighbouring states are expected to visit Hubballi for the celebrations. Various government departments are coordinating preparations to ensure the festival is conducted smoothly and without inconvenience to the public, he added.
