HEAD: 24_Kan_FRS_CRPF jawan arrested for UPSC aspirant murder in Etawah CRPF jawan arrested for UPSC aspirant murder in Etawah Kanpur:Police in Etawah arrested CRPF jawan Abhishek Yadav from Punjab for the murder of UPSC aspirant Manish Yadav , and said the accused confessed during interrogation that he committed the crime at the instigation of his friend Vipin. Police recovered the student’s tablet from the Sengar river and said they intensified the investigation and were searching for absconding accused. Police said they were continuously searching for the accused after the murder. “Abhishek said that after the incident he realised his mistake. He said he was influenced by his friend Vipin’s words and took this step at his behest,” stated SSP further. The accused told police that after the murder, he threw Manish’s tablet in the Sengar river near Amritpur in the Basrehar area with the intention of destroying evidence. Police said this recovery was extremely important for the investigation and many facts may come to light from it.
Manish Yadav was a resident of village Nagla Bandha in the Bharthana police station area. During the investigation, the police team reached Muktsar Sahib district in Punjab and took Abhishek Yadav into custody from Ajay Colony on Malout Road. After completing necessary legal procedures, police brought him to Bharthana on transit remand and produced him in Court. On his identification, the police team reached below the river bridge and recovered the tablet from the water.
