The fire was reported at around 2:30 am on September 5, prompting a response from deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. Three people were found unresponsive inside a bedroom — a man and a woman in their late 40s and a boy under the age of 10.
