Pune: The Pune Rural police on Sunday arrested four men for allegedly robbing an MSRTC bus conductor of Rs 9,000 in the early hours of Friday on the Pune-Nagar highway near Shirur, around 70km from the city.
A Shirur police team led by inspector Vinod Patil arrested Ajaykumar Chavan (24) and Sachin Gholap (22), both from Dighi, and Pavan Gholap (25) and Akash Kale (21), both from Alandi, after examining footage from more than 100 CCTV cameras in Pimpri Chinchwad, Shirur and Ahilyanagar district.
They also demanded money for the damage allegedly caused by the bus,” he said.
