The incident took place in Peruru village of Wazeedu mandal in Mulugu district. Wazeedu: Two persons were electrocuted in an agricultural field on Friday evening.
The deceased were identified as T Abhishek (23) and P Samaiaha (53), residents of Peruru village. One P Naresh (23) received burn injuries.

The three persons went to an agricultural field for work, according to Peruru sub-inspector G Krishna Prasad. The two bodies were shifted for postmortem to Eturunagaram CHC, said Krishna Prasad. After completion of work in the chilli fields, Abhishek and Samaiaha accidentally came into contact with a live electrical wire and died on the spot, while Naresh was injured, and was shifted to the Eturunagaram Community Health Centre (CHC). The doctors suggested to shift Naresh to MGM hospital in Warangal for better treatment, as he was in a critical condition. Download the TOI App.
