An 81-year-old Mira Road resident has turned to his childhood classmate, Prime Minister

Bhayander: An 81-year-old Mira Road resident has turned to his childhood classmate, Prime Minister Narendra Modi , in his decades-long fight over a land dispute, seeking justice and a CBI probe into the matter.

Asgarali Vohra, who studied with Modi at the B N School in Vadnagar, Gujarat, met PM on Sept 8 and sought his intervention in the dispute. State transport minister Pratap Sarnaik has released photographs and a press note of Vohra’s meeting with PM, and expressed hope that Modi would ensure justice for his friend.

Vohra said he was hopeful of getting justice after receiving a positive response from PM.

Legal Proceedings Ongoing in 2015 FIR Case

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed in 2015 regarding a pending legal matter that has yet to be resolved in court. The individual involved, Vohra, has been actively engaging with the revenue department, municipal authorities, and police in an effort to find a resolution to the case.

Upcoming Hearing on Construction Dispute Scheduled

The municipal administration has noted developments following the recent meeting with the Prime Minister. A hearing regarding the matter has been scheduled for September 16. Representatives from Seven Eleven Constructions and Swayam Builders are required to attend.
