Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The education department has suspended the 2027 annual increment for 1,086 teachers in Gangapur and Khuldabad talukas. This action is due to allegations that these teachers did not remain at their assigned headquarters for the required duration. The increment will remain withheld for a period of three years as a consequence of this non-compliance.
Exercising powers delegated, the office of education officer (primary) has now ordered temporary withholding of one annual increment for three years against all 1,086 employees,” said Education Officer (Primary) Sanghratna Sarode.

Representations were submitted to the rural development minister, education minister, collector, chief executive officer, primary education officer, block development officer, block education officer, and police administration. This concerted effort highlights the urgency of the matter and the need for immediate attention from the authorities.
