However, latest research shows that early intervention could help delay or even prevent the progression of the disease,” he said. Chakrapani said social stigma surrounding brain disorders often discourages people from seeking screening and treatment. These changes often go undetected. The exhibition aims to familiarise the public with such developments and encourage early attention to neurological health. The brain specimens on display were brought from the brain bank at NIMHANS. The exhibition also features expert-guided sessions, interactive learning experiences and a special 3D brain projection that provides an immersive view of brain structures and neural networks.
