Justice K Murali Shankar dismissed the bail petition filed by Jeyaprakash who was arrested by the Dindigul CB-CID officials in the case. Following a complaint lodged by Muruganandam, superintendent of the Palani temple lands division, the Palani Adivaram police had initially registered a case. Subsequently, the case was transferred to Dindigul district CB-CID. CB-CID arrested several people including Jeyaprakash, D Murugadass of Villupuram who sold the land, K Vellathurai of Tirupur, and D Sethupathi who purchased the land. Download the TOI App.

Madurai: Madras high court on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of an accused in the case pertaining to the fraudulent registration of a land belonging to the Arulmigu Dhandapani Swamigal Madam in Palani, Dindigul district.
