The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will take control of the township, backed by an allocation of ₹2,912 crore in seed capital. This decision aims to address the concerns of thousands of affected residents and ensure the completion of the project.
The decision is expected to benefit around 5,000 homebuyers and pave the way for eligible allottees to receive their houses and plots. The estimated cost of the pending development works is around Rs 2,216.91 crore. Singh said he had met Yogi Adityanath on Aug 21 and raised the concerns of affected homebuyers, seeking a permanent solution.
