KOLKATA: Lake Town Police Station has registered an FIR following a complaint over an abusive and derogatory video targeting CM Suvendu Adhikari.
Complainant Ananda Poddar said he saw the 4-minute-12-second video on Facebook on Sept 14 around 9.30am. Police registered a case under BNS sections 356, 352, 353(2), 196(1)(a) and 299. The video, posted from a profile purportedly belonging to Samiran Mandal, features an unidentified speaker allegedly using vulgar and defamatory language against the CM.
