Mangaluru: Chief minister DK Shivakumar said that there is a need to prevent human resources migration from the coastal and Malnad region.
There are no shortcomings in the region, where over 300 km of coastline needs to be developed appropriately. Speaking to reporters at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Thursday, Shivakumar said that the coastal and Malnad regions need facelift so that the govt can prevent migration of human resources. They have expressed their expectations that their demands can be fulfilled by us,” the CM said. “This is the region from where most of the educated and enlightened people in the state hail from.
