Mysuru: T Narasipura’s Ganesha procession row has taken another turn with Mysuru district

The case is registered under section 353 of BNS. Manjunath has pleaded innocence, stating that he was invited to cover the meeting by inspector Dhananjaya on Sept 7 and accordingly, he recorded the officer’s guidelines and posted them as they were without altering or doctoring the footage. Police have taken up a suo motu case after police officer Yashavanta S of T Narasipura station filed a case against reporter Manjunath . Manjunath claimed that after the controversy over the inspector’s statement took a different turn with BJP protesting, police allegedly made him delete the video which was posted by him on social media platforms. Claiming that he is being blamed for the controversy, Manjunath has urged govt to withdraw the FIR filed against him as he has not done anything wrong.
