Kanpur: A 37-year-old man who had been undergoing treatment for tuberculosis for five years died by suicide at his house in Rajkiya Unnayan Awas Colony on GT Road in Kanpur late Thursday.
Investigation Underway Following Death of Akash Yadav
The body of Akash Yadav was discovered by family members on Friday morning after he had not left his room. Authorities from the Nawabganj police department, along with a forensic team, have begun an investigation at the scene and are collecting evidence.
His younger brother reported to the police that Akash had been experiencing significant physical weakness and mental distress due to an ongoing illness, which had adversely impacted his health and his furniture business. In the days leading up to his death, Akash had become increasingly withdrawn and had limited communication with family members.
