Trump rolls out 25 ‘accomplishments’ before midterms

A Marquette Law School poll conducted earlier this month similarly found inflation and the cost of living remained the top concern, while Trump’s approval on inflation stood at 19 per cent. Trump posted the list on Truth Social on Friday, accompanying it with two images detailing the 25 points.
US president Donald Trump has released a list of what he called his “TOP 25 TRUMP ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF TERM THREE”, highlighting immigration, tariffs, taxes, military operations and social policy as his record ahead of the November midterm elections. Trump referred to the record as “TERM THREE” Although he is serving his second presidential term. “Achieved the most secure border in history – ZERO illegal aliens admitted to the United States in the past 16 months,” Trump wrote, while also citing the Laken Riley Act and claiming his administration had achieved the “largest drop in the murder rate EVER recorded”. On the economy, Trump highlighted what he called “the largest tax cuts in American History” through the Great Big Beautiful Bill, including “No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, and No Tax on Social Security for our great seniors”. He also claimed to have secured commitments for “$19.2 trillion dollars of new investment in the United States” and said tariffs had been imposed to “bring back American Manufacturing”. Trump listed “50% tariffs on foreign copper, aluminum, and steel” and “25% tariffs on foreign automobiles” among the measures he said had supported that objective. Trump claimed the US had “obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity” through Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury, saying the measures would ensure Iran would “NEVER have a nuclear weapon”. He also claimed the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, military strikes against drug cartels and the settlement of “8 raging wars with historic peace deals”. On social policy, Trump said his administration had “Abolished all discriminatory ‘Diversity, Equity, Inclusion’ (DEI) policies”, “Banned MEN from playing in women’s sports” and “Made English the Official Language of the United States”.
His list also focused heavily on foreign policy and military operations. Trump also claimed he had halted all refugee admissions to the United States, “including from Somalia and other dangerous places. Trump also cited lower prescription-drug prices, increased military spending, energy production, exports and the launch of Trump Accounts for children.
