Hyderabad : Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said the state govt would soon unveil a comprehensive solution to long-pending issues related to lands listed under Section 22A and clear all related grievances within 45 days.
Ponguleti said similar issues faced by residents in parts of Medchal and Rangareddy districts would also be resolved within a month through GO 118. On the regularisation of house sites in Singareni areas, Srinivas Reddy said GO 76 would be implemented through a three-member committee. Bhudhaar cards, on the lines of Aadhaar, would be introduced to address land-related problems faced by farmers in rural areas, while similar measures would be taken to resolve land issues in urban areas, he said.
The minister said the govt was acting on the assurances made by chief minister A Revanth Reddy in the assembly and was moving swiftly to resolve land and registration-related issues. “Two GOs 118 and 76 have already been issued to address issues relating to the regularisation of residential properties in colonies and house sites in Singareni areas respectively,” he said, adding that the govt was focusing on the 12 issues announced in the assembly and resolving them in phases. No houses would be demolished, he said. On lands covered under Section 22A, the minister said the govt would soon announce a decision to provide relief to people whose properties had remained under the prohibited category for years. Alleging that some people were spreading misinformation on the issue, he said GOs would be issued within a week to address registration-related problems and concerns of people who had not yet submitted applications. The minister also said the govt was preparing plans to develop the CURE area into a world-class city.
