Aspirants wait before appearing for the JEE Advanced in Patna

Pune: Parents of students appearing for Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) board exams and JEE (Main) 2026 have appealed to the state board and National Testing Agency (NTA) to resolve the clash of dates. The HSC practical examinations are scheduled between Jan 20 and Feb 6, and the JEE (Main) Session-1 is scheduled from Jan 22 to 30. They also requested NTA to offer Maharashtra students a later slot or treat Session-2 on a par with Session-1, stating that students should not have to choose between compulsory practicals and an entrance exam.
