CM Yogi Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute appointment letters to 3,567 candidates selected for teaching and administrative posts in aided secondary schools across UP on Tuesday. The selected candidates include 319 principals, 258 headmasters, 618 postgraduate teachers (PGTs) and 2,372 trained graduate teachers (TGTs), according to the state govt. Of the total 3,567 appointments, TGTs account for the largest share, followed by PGTs.

Govt said the appointment letters would be given to candidates selected through examinations conducted by the state education service selection commission. The candidates have been selected by the UP Education Service Selection Commission for appointments in non-govt aided secondary schools across the state. The distribution of appointment letters will take place at Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan as part of the state govt’s Mission Rozgar programme. The appointments will add teaching staff as well as principals and headmasters to aided secondary schools. Download the TOI App.
