Bengaluru: An 18-year-old diploma student was found dead at the hostel of Govt Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) in Channarayapatna of Devanahalli taluk, 47km away from the city, Monday morning.
Police said Johel attended college from 9am till 10.30am and returned to the hostel. The school said Johel was a bright student and didn’t talk much. His shocked parents said they were not aware of any issues. The victim is Johel, a resident of Jayanagar in south Bengaluru. His hostel mates, who returned during lunch hours around 1pm, found him hanging. Channarayapatna police didn’t find any death note. The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
