Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series launched with 3nm chip, IP68 rating and S Pen in the box.
The Galaxy Tab S12+ moves up to a 12.6-inch display with thinner bezels than the Tab S11+, which Samsung says adds screen space without costing portability. It gets the same 1,600-nit peak brightness and a rated battery life of up to 21 hours. The company hasn’t named the processor yet. A redesigned 3D vapour chamber is meant to keep that performance steady through long video edits or design sessions.
Both go on sale from October 7 in select markets in Gray and Silver, though Samsung is yet to announce India pricing. At 5.1mm, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is the slimmest Galaxy Tab Samsung has made so far. It sticks with a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that peaks at 1,600 nits, and Samsung rates the battery for up to 23 hours on a charge. Samsung claims the new chip is 19% faster on the CPU, 17% faster on the GPU and up to 61% quicker at NPU tasks than the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
