Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series is now available in India. The company has started selling the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ models, with Wi-Fi and 5G variants, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. Samsung is also offering several launch benefits, including discounts on select Galaxy smartphones and wearables, cashback, an upgrade bonus and no-cost EMI options.

The new tablets run Android 17 with One UI 9 and feature Galaxy AI tools aimed at productivity. LumaFusion is available at a 66% discount, while Clip Studio Paint comes with a six-month trial and 20% off the first subscription. Samsung has also introduced its Galaxy Forever programme for the first time on Galaxy Tabs, offering assured buyback benefits and Samsung Care+ coverage.

Other software features include Samsung Browser’s ability to summarise open tabs and surface relevant sources. Adobe Photoshop comes pre-installed, while Goodnotes gets one year of free access.

Both Wi-Fi and 5G variants with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage are available from October 7 through Samsung Exclusive Stores, partner stores, Samsung.com and other online platforms. Other benefits include up to Rs 5,000 bank cashback, up to Rs 5,000 upgrade bonus and no-cost EMI for up to 24 months through participating banks and NBFC partners. The Galaxy Tab S12 series is available in Gray and Silver colour options. Samsung notes that the offers are mutually exclusive and cannot be combined.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ have Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. The Ultra has a 14.6-inch display, and the Plus has a 12.6-inch display. Samsung says the Ultra offers up to 23 hours of battery life, while the Plus is rated for up to 21 hours under specified conditions. Both support 45W charging, with Samsung claiming a 0-100% charge in 95 minutes.

Both offer a three-way split-screen layout via Multi Window, letting users work in several apps at once. The tablets also have a 3D Vapour Chamber for heat management and boast an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
