The delay may increase further as LU has extended the deadline for obtaining the Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) till Oct 10, with affiliated colleges continuing admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. “LU’s admission process for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate courses continued till August. Several students turn to affiliated colleges after failing to secure admission in the university.
