Officials said Surender continued approaching the grievance cell over the matter before attempting suicide on Monday.
A hearing was held at the collector’s office on Aug 22. Surender’s brother, Gatla Raju, attended the hearing and said the dispute was pending before Narsampet civil judge’s court under case number 199/224 and the administration should not intervene. The details were communicated to Surender on Sept 30, the collector said.
Warangal district collector Dr Satya Sharada said Surender had approached the grievance cell in July and submitted a petition concerning the dispute.
