Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory due to heavy congestion on Barapulla Phase-III Elevated Road
In a post on X, Delhi Traffic Police said, “Congestion on Barapulla Phase-III is not being reflected on Google Maps, due to which commuters are continuing to use this route.
Earlier, Delhi Traffic Police said traffic from around eight to nine lanes was converging into just three lanes at a single point on the older flyover stretch. The traffic police said the Old Barapullah Flyover has three lanes, while the newly opened Phase-III flyover on the Mayur Vihar side, the Sarai Kale Khan loop and the DND loop each have around three lanes. This has resulted in heavy traffic and a bottleneck at Barapulla Junction”. The convergence of these roadways creates the bottleneck.
NEW DELHI: Delhi Traffic Police on Wednesday issued an advisory after heavy congestion was reported on Barapulla Phase-III Elevated Road towards Barapulla and Ring Road from Noida Link Road and Mayur Vihar Phase-I.
