Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Nanded and Dharashiv district administrations have put comprehensive measures in place at Mahur and Tuljapur shrines to ensure smooth darshan, efficient crowd control and uninterrupted essential services during the Navaratra celebrations from Oct 11 to 20. In Mahur, a fleet of 120 MSRTC buses has been deployed for devotees, while over 500 police personnel and home guards will manage queues, traffic and security. “More than 2,000 officials and employees from various departments will be on duty throughout the festival.

The temple trust has been directed to ensure drinking water, sanitation facilities, power backup and streamlined darshan arrangements,” Nanded collector Rahul Kardile said. In Tuljapur, Dharashiv district authorities have activated a 24×7 control room and placed technical staff on standby as the temple town braces for a surge in pilgrims from Maharashtra and neighbouring states. Meanwhile, preparations are also in full swing at Renuka Mata temple on Jalgaon Road in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
