Designed to unite the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the all-in-one mobility platform connects 11 public transport operators, including Metro, suburban rail, BEST, NMMT and Monorail, under a single digital ecosystem.
Mukherjee said the app was being upgraded to include air ticket bookings. Sources said MMRDA also plans to include app-based taxis and municipal transport buses for ticket bookings in the future. He was speaking at an event marking one year of the app’s role in transforming urban commuting in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
MUMBAI: Metropolitan Commissioner Sanjay Mukherjee on Thursday announced that airline tickets will soon be available for booking through the MMRDA’s Mumbai One app.

Over the past year, more than 1.32 crore tickets have been booked through the app, which has over 9.19 lakh registered users.
