Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 in January 2027. The PS5 version is confirmed to launch on January 26, 2027, while Premium Edition buyers can access the game five days early, starting January 21. Developed by Panic Button in collaboration with Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios, the PS5 version will support cross-platform play and cross-save with the Xbox and Steam versions.

Forza Horizon 6 Standard and Deluxe Editions will launch on PS5 on January 26, 2027. Players who purchase the Premium Edition can start playing from January 21, five days before the standard release. The game will also be available on physical disc at participating retailers. PS5 pre-orders are now open through the PlayStation Store, and all editions include a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 that players can add to their in-game garage after completing the prologue. The first Premium Expansion for Forza Horizon 6 will also arrive on January 21, 2027, across all platforms. It will be included with the Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, and Expansions Bundle, or available for separate purchase. Forza Horizon 6 will be available in Standard, Deluxe and Premium Editions on PS5. The developers said they’ll share more details closer to launch. Panic Button developed the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6, the studio behind last year’s PlayStation 5 release of Forza Horizon 5. The team worked with Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios on the port. The game will offer a 4K resolution Quality mode running at 30 frames per second. A 60fps Performance mode will also be available, though the developers haven’t shared specific details about performance on the PlayStation 5 Pro. Forza Horizon 6 takes players to Japan, with the Horizon Festival serving as the setting for its open-world racing experience. The developers have also outlined several gameplay features, including car customisation, shared-world meetups, the EventLab creation tools and the ability to customise garages and estates. Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 will support cross-platform play and cross-save with the Xbox and Steam versions.
The company has not announced PS5 pricing in the information provided. Standard Edition: Includes the full game. Deluxe Edition: Includes the full game, Welcome Pack and Car Pass. Premium Edition: Includes the full game, VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Passion Car Pack and the first two Premium Expansions, with the second expansion arriving later. Players who already own the Standard or Deluxe Edition can also get the Premium Upgrade.
PS5 players will have access to user-generated content from launch, including EventLab races, vehicle prefabs, garages, estates, liveries and tuning setups.
