The testimony comes as the NFL reviews allegations involving Hill and teams weigh whether to sign the 32-year-old receiver.

Hill acknowledged pushing Vaccaro against a wall during one confrontation, according to ESPN’s Xuan Thai. “I told her that night, I said, ‘Don’t you ever touch me in your life,’” Hill testified. Tyreek Hill entered this week with renewed speculation about an NFL comeback. By Thursday, the conversation around the free agent wide receiver had changed considerably. Hill testified in Miami in a civil assault and battery case brought by his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro. He denied several allegations of physical abuse but acknowledged making threats and pushing Vaccaro into a wall during one confrontation. “I pushed her against the wall, and I tried to force her to get off me. I created a hole in the wall trying to force her to get off me that night.”

NBC Sports reported that the NFL has a pending Personal Conduct Policy investigation connected to the allegations made by Vaccaro. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, recently suggested Hill could sign with an NFL team soon. The Kansas City Chiefs, where Hill spent his first six NFL seasons, have also been linked to a possible reunion. The league can make its own determination regardless of the outcome of the civil trial. Hill must continue his recovery from a major knee injury, find a team willing to sign him and wait for clarity surrounding the NFL’s review. His ongoing civil trial now sits directly alongside those questions.
