UP Police first in India to cross 1 crore iGOT Karmayogi course completions

In a statement issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police headquarters, the department recorded 1,00,48,188 course completions on Oct 8. As of Oct 8, 3,58,633 UP Police personnel had registered on the portal and logged 1,45,29,083 learning hours, reflecting an institutional push toward continuous professional development. To integrate training into routine police work, the department introduced weekend training targets from Aug 1, requiring personnel to complete designated courses on Saturdays and Sundays. Through 10 weekend targets, personnel completed 32,69,223 courses by Oct 8.

The iGOT team confirmed that UP Police is the first among all state departments and Union ministries to reach the figure. Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police has become the first department in the country to cross one crore course completions on the Integrated Govt Online Training (iGOT) Karmayogi portal under the Centre’s Mission Karmayogi initiative, marking a key milestone in police training and capacity building. The milestone has been achieved under the leadership of chief minister Yogi Adityanath , with guidance from director general of police Rajeev Krishna and supervision by DGP (training) Rajeev Sabharwal.
