“I suggest they get a new leader, who can make a deal because he could have made many deals and for some reason he never does,” Trump said on Saturday. For several weeks, Trump has pressed Zelenskyy to halt attacks on Russian energy infrastructure. The US president has attributed record-high diesel prices in the United States to Ukrainian strikes rather than the US-led war in Iran, which has pushed up global energy costs. Ukrainian and European officials have expressed concern over the diesel agreement, arguing that the arrangement could provide financial support for Russia’s war effort. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha rejected Trump’s criticism in a post on X late Saturday, saying Zelenskyy was leading the country in its fight for independence and continued to enjoy public backing.

Trump’s remarks came after he reached an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday to purchase diesel from Russia in a bid to ease rising fuel costs ahead of the US midterm elections.

“ As a result of the drone attack, the infrastructure of Yandex’s data center in Vladimir was damaged.

There were no injuries,” Yandex Cloud said in a post on Telegram, where it provides updates on service disruptions. The attack occurred a day after US President Donald Trump called for Ukraine to elect a new leader, criticising President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over his handling of efforts to end the war and blaming him for high diesel prices in the United States, according to AP. The incident marked the third attack on the company’s facilities in four days as Kyiv expands its strikes on infrastructure located deep inside Russian territory. Operations at the data center have been completely halted.

A Ukrainian drone strike damaged a data center operated by Russian technology major Yandex, forcing it to suspend operations, the company said on Sunday. A drone strike on Thursday forced the company to take a data centre in the Ryazan region, south-east of Moscow, offline. On Friday, Ukrainian drones targeted its major facility in the Kaluga region, south-west of the capital, partially disrupting operations, the company said.
