Govt has also agreed to withdraw cases registered against protesters and double the number of Group C posts to be filled through the 2027 examination, according to a draft of decisions handed over to protesters late on Sunday night. State public works minister Shivendra Raje Bhosale announced the decisions at the protest site near SM Joshi Bridge around 10.30pm, following nearly two hours of discussions with NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar and other representatives of the aspirants.
The chief minister has constituted a committee of officers capable of bringing about fundamental administrative changes to MPSC,” Bhosale said. “The draft outlines govt’s position on the other demands as well.
