Stephen Curry focuses on training as he remains committed to being there for the team
Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ star player, has remained dedicated to the team ever since he was drafted in 2009. I know what it means in the sense of that window we had where coming off of ‘22, there were opportunities to get better, add new talent, and some worked out, some didn’t. Following their championship campaign in 2022, the team followed up in the 2022–23 season with a 44–38 regular-season record, eventually bowing out in the Western Conference Semifinals to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the 2024–25 season, Stephen Curry averaged 26.2 points to lead the Golden State Warriors back into the postseason, where he earned the NBA All-Star Game MVP honors later that year.
A few hours ago, in an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area, the NBA icon Stephen Curry reflected on the Golden State Warriors’ front office as he said, “I mean, I’m not an idiot. The star player added, ‘And the jury is still out on how we end this entire journey with a competitive mindset…” The star player added, “Availability was the biggest theme and we’re still one game away from getting to a playoff run,” Curry said. Despite speculations related to joining other teams, the four time NBA champion has remained dedicated and passionate to the Golden State Warriors. Ahead of the new season, Stephen Curry has reflected on the issues in the team. “All the other chatter doesn’t necessarily matter to me in terms of how I grade our seasons. The Golden State Warriors have experienced a few tough seasons on the court in the last few years.
