Executives said the state is now home to over 2.5 lakh sellers on its marketplace.
Value-focused products available in an affordable price range are finding takers in large numbers during the ongoing sale, according to senior executives from Amazon Bazaar. Product lead at Amazon Bazaar, Abhimanyu Kothari, said, “In Lucknow, momentum of products has grown by three times with women’s fashion registering a four-fold growth year on year followed by home and kitchen section which recorded threefold growth. Fashion and beauty products, followed by home decor items and kitchen essentials, are among the top business categories. Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Prayagraj, Agra, Varanasi and Meerut are active on the shopping platform for their daily needs. The company also highlighted the expansion of its seller ecosystem in UP.
