Northeast Governors to Convene for Development Discussions
Governors and chief ministers from the eight northeastern states will gather for a two-day session starting December 20 to discuss targeted development plans. The Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya Scindia, is expected to participate in the discussions.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also anticipated to attend the North Eastern Council (NEC) plenary session in Agartala on December 21.
