Muzaffarnagar : A man was allegedly assaulted and paraded by a group of people in Aligarh’s Civil Lines area Wednesday evening, days after controversial remarks by his brother sparked tension with some members of the Dalit community.

A widely circulated video purportedly shows a group surrounding and assaulting a man identified as Sachin Raghav, a local cow vigilante, while shouting “Jai Bhim” slogans. “CCTV footage and other electronic evidence are being examined to identify those involved,” Singh said.
