Police Complaint Filed Over Alleged Fake Death Certificate
A complaint has been lodged with the Bopal police by the farmer’s other son following a Sanand court’s acceptance of a B-summary report. The court found that the original landholder did not die in 1985, as previously claimed. The complainant asserts that the land originally belonged to their father. He alleges that his brother obtained a fraudulent death certificate, stating that their father had died on April 15, 1985.
Sanand Court Approves B-summary Report in Fraud Case
The investigation into a fraud case involving bogus land documents has led to new developments. Bopal police uncovered that the case, originally filed in December 2020, involved the creation of fake documents using a farmer’s forged death certificate. These documents listed fictitious landowners and farmers at the Sanand sub-registrar’s office, with thumb impressions and signatures that were also forged.
During the investigation, authorities determined that one of the accused individuals had been wrongfully implicated by the farmer’s son and had no involvement in the alleged fraud. In light of these findings, police submitted a B-summary report to the Sanand court, which was approved on January 29, 2025, allowing for prosecution to proceed.
