State govt departments, govt institutions and educational institutions will receive access to GPU infrastructure on a 100% subsidy basis. GIL will receive a 7% consultancy fee on the cost of GPU services procured under the framework.

Gandhinagar : Gujarat govt has rolled out a statewide GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) framework to provide computing resources to departments, public institutions and select artificial intelligence startups. Startups selected through the AI Innovation Challenge of AI Centre of Excellence will also qualify for full subsidy for production deployment of approved use cases. Other startups may use the facility but will have to pay GPU service cost and GIL’s consultancy fee. GPU services will be procured from cloud providers empanelled by IndiaAI.
