Gandhinagar: On Monday, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel appealed to leaders of foreign diplomatic missions to promote investment opportunities in Gujarat. He emphasized the state’s potential for attracting foreign companies, as detailed in an official statement released on Tuesday. Patel’s initiative aims to bolster economic growth by encouraging international partnerships and investments in various sectors within the state.
Addressing the diplomats as part of state govt’s outreach activities for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), the CM said Gujarat has evolved into a platform for global investment, collaboration, and partnerships.
“Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has given Gujarat a new identity as a ‘global gateway to the future’,” Patel said. Patel said Gujarat was committed to providing all possible support to global industries and investors and called for stronger partnerships for mutual growth. He highlighted opportunities in semiconductors, electronics, renewable energy, green hydrogen, electric vehicles, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, textiles, food processing, aerospace and defence. He also invited foreign investors to set up manufacturing units in the state and contribute to the PM’s vision of ‘ Make in India , Make for the World’.
