A 23-year-old Indian woman driving a brown car rear-ends a white vehicle in a shopping complex parking area, showing minor collision damage to the front bumper in a semi-realistic scene.
A 26-year-old man was assaulted by a woman after her car hit his parked vehicle, while a 45-year-old labourer was stabbed during a dispute linked to a Ganpati celebration. In the first case, the complainant said he had parked his car outside a pet shop near Bopal Vakil Bridge around 7.30pm on Friday and was inside the shop when he heard a crash. In the second incident, a 45-year-old casual labourer was attacked with a knife above his left eye following a dispute during a Ganpati feast in the Old Vadaj area.
Ahmedabad : Two separate disputes in the city turned violent late this week. He alleged that a brown car had rammed into his parked vehicle, damaging its front bumper. When he confronted the woman driving the car, she allegedly got into an argument and abused him. The complainant alleged that as he tried to prevent her from leaving the spot, she got out of the vehicle and assaulted him. He alleged that his gold chain broke and went missing during the altercation. He later contacted the police control room.
An argument broke out around 9.30pm on Thursday after a motorcycle allegedly ran over a resident’s foot, according to his complaint. Around 12.30am on Friday, while the complainant and other residents were heading for Ganpati immersion, the duo intercepted him near a metro station pillar below Income Tax Bridge. One of the accused allegedly told the other to kill him, following which he was struck with a knife above his left eyebrow and pushed to the ground. The labourer intervened to defuse the quarrel, but the two men involved allegedly returned later and threatened local residents. The complainant sustained injuries to his face and knee and was rushed to SVP Hospital, and then to Civil Hospital, Asarwa, where he received stitches above his eye. Download the TOI App.
