Shalini Pandey , director of Plumage Solutions said the company will begin the manufacturing from its facility in Puducherry from next month, with an initial capacity of million units annually. Chennai: Plumage Solutions has formed a technical collaboration with Shenzhen-based Huntkey Electric, China, to localise, manufacture, and commercialise power products in India. The collaboration will focus on making power adapters, supplies, chargers and other power conversion and charging products, particularly for IT hardware such as computers and laptops. It will target Indian and international markets. The company is an original design manufacturer and works with major global IT hardware players to manufacture monitors, all-in-one (AIO) PCs, and notebooks. It is also a beneficiary of the production-linked incentive scheme under the IT hardware scheme. The companies focus on global OEM customers and plan to localise supply chains in India, including product customisation, engineering development, and component localisation for chassis, EMI shielding components, PCBAs, and other eligible sub-assemblies and components. The companies also intend to develop a long-term roadmap to expand the range and scale of power products manufactured in India. Download the TOI App.
