New Delhi: A woman has alleged that her daughter was assaulted in south Delhi Sunday, claiming that the son of a senior bureaucrat was involved.
The incident came to light through a social media post in which the woman alleged that the assault took place around 11.30pm while her daughter was recording a video. A senior police officer said the woman had named the bureaucrat’s son in her complaint. Police have received a complaint and are verifying the allegations. She claimed that the accused punched her daughter, dragged her by the hair to a bathroom and attempted to twist or break her hands.
