NEW DELHI: A Delhi woman’s video alleging that she was denied access to a washroom at a five-star hotel after being told she was not a guest has gone viral on social media, sparking a debate over whether hotels can refuse restroom access to people in an emergency. “A woman says she urgently needed to use the washroom, but was reportedly denied entry at a 5-star hotel,” the caption said. The woman has since clarified that she had a valid, pre-booked and paid ticket for the club at the hotel. A video originally filmed by the woman and later reshared by X user Pragya shows her standing outside the hotel she claimed had denied her access to its washroom.
