New Delhi: A 55-year-old DTC bus marshal was killed in a road accident near northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Flyover Thursday afternoon. An FIR was registered under Section 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Khajuri Khas police station.
Police said both the vehicles were found at the spot after the accident. She was crossing the road when she was hit by a motorcyclist and subsequently came under the wheels of a truck. The deceased, Sunita Thepliyal, was a resident of Bhajanpura and was working with Delhi Home Guards. Both the truck driver and the motorcycle rider were arrested. Further investigation is under way.
