New Delhi: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Wednesday moved Delhi High Court challenging Delhi Police ’s decision to denotify Jantar Mantar as a designated site for protests and demonstrations.
In its latest plea, IYC challenged Delhi Police commissioner Anurag Kumar’s standing order dated Oct 11, under which Jantar Mantar was denotified and Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in east Delhi were designated as alternative venues for protests and demonstrations.
