New Delhi: Railway has announced that all train services will operate as per their normal schedule on Oct 11, following cancellations and rescheduling of hundreds of trains coming to New Delhi and Nizamuddin railway stations Saturday.

The railways have also rescheduled Mumbai Central-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (12951), initially scheduled to arrive at 8.32am Saturday, and Mumbai Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (12953), scheduled to arrive at 9.43am. A senior official said the decision was made based on traffic advisories indicating severe road congestion around the railway stations during the protest. Many trains originating from Delhi were also cancelled after the announcement of a protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Several trains operating from Indore to Delhi, Delhi to Lucknow, and Delhi to Mumbai were affected. Among the major trains are Magadh Express, Tejas Rajdhani Express, Sampoorna Kranti Express, Amrit Bharat Express, Shatabdi Express, Prayagraj Express and Humsafar Express. Trains between New Delhi and Indore, Hazrat Nizamuddin and Bandra Terminus, and Hazrat Nizamuddin and Udaipur City could be affected too. Both trains have been rescheduled by five hours.
