NEW DELHI: Timely intervention by Delhi Police helped rescue a 24-year-old Nepalese man who allegedly attempted suicide at a park in Defence Colony, officials said on Friday. The man had been wandering around south Delhi for the past four days without money or food after losing contact with his friend, according to sources. A team from the Defence Colony police station immediately rushed to the spot and managed to bring the man down safely, they said. During questioning, the man told police that he had come to Delhi from Nepal in search of a job.
