“When I say BJP will remain in govt for 30 years, they (opposition) tell people how Amit Shah will know this but for ‘vote chori’. I live among people,” he said, noting Congress was out of govt in many states for decades, long before PM Narendra Modi led BJP to victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Shah, who turned 62 Thursday, said, “You (opposition) cannot use political jugglery and mobocracy to defy the mandate of the people.
Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta said the goal is to connect every household and sewer line to an STP, so that untreated wastewater doesn’t flow into Yamuna.
Trashing allegations of “vote theft” made in the ongoing protests by opposition and activist groups, he said the country knows it is an attempt “to protect the votes of infiltrators”.
